As a result of continued expansion within one of our Clients key Managed Services customer, we are looking for an experienced Linux engineer, based on customer site in Bristol.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Install, configure, troubleshoot Linux based operating systems, and advise on continued usage and deployments

Assist the delivery of IT Services to the end client through supply of contracted services and value add

Deliver an effective and efficient customer focused service, meeting service level agreements and customer expectations

Direct interaction with customers helping them identify and resolve technical issues with bespoke products

Developing resolutions to customer's problems, working with the customers internal Desktop Integration to define a standard Workstation build
Key Skills/Experience
-
Significant experience working in IT specifically a Linux/Unix environment

Essential knowledge of RedHat
-
Desirable knowledge of TomCat, Apache Ant 1.6; Brasaero, Firefox, GThumb, SQL, SQLite, SNOW

Possess excellent customer service skills

Demonstrate the ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
As you will be working in a secure environment, you will be required to undertake Security Clearance
