As a depot based Lifting Engineer you will provide overall responsibility of the inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of our lifting hire equipment.

On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be working directly with other engineers in the depot and liaising regularly with drivers and the hire desk team to ensure repairs and maintenance is prioritised effectively. Hands on, you role will find yourself performing repairs, assembly and servicing our lifting equipment. Our extensive range covers hoists, winches, hydraulic cylinders and jacks, through to handling equipment, alloy gantries, test weights and all associated connectors and slings.
Whilst your role will need you to demonstrate the responsibility to work alone, we work proudly with a team culture so adaptability and communication are key. - LEEA Part 1 as a minimum
- Excellent knowledge of lifting equipment
- Able to test, repair, inspection and maintenance of a wide range of lifting equipment and accessories
- Strong communication skills both verbally & written
- Able to adapt quickly to support others
- Commitment to learn and develop
- Previous experience working within the hire industry or other related engineering field
