If so, we are now actively sourcing for 2 Learning Support Assistants to work with children who are on the autistic spectrum from September.
We are now interviewing for Learning Support Assistants with previous exposure to working with children with special educational needs (SEN) in particular Autism.
As an LSA you will be a mentor and a role model, there is nothing greater in lifer that having a positive impact on a child. Do you have what it takes? If so then we would very much like to hear from you.
Duties of the Learning Support
- Support schoolwork under the supervision of the Teacher.
- Encouraging the child’s confidence, self-esteem and independence.
- Attending to pupils’ physical needs.
- Assisting children during theory sessions.
- You MUST hold a formal Teaching Assistant or other formal qualification.
- Have a general interest working in special educational needs.
- Can demonstrate that you can make a real difference for children with autism.
- A resilient and patient manor.
- Ability to work with both groups and one-to-one.
- You will have strong communication skis.
