Job Description

Learning Support Assistant - Gateshead

We are currently looking for qualified Learning Support Assistants at all levels, including HLTA's for work opportunities within secondary schools in Gateshead. The roles involve offering support students who have moderate to severe learning and/or behavioural difficulties some of the work could be on a 1:1 basis and/or with small groups. Vacancies available are on going supply contracts, full time and part options available, with the real possibility of candidates being offered permanent posts.

For the roles you should have at a proven track record of supporting young people and children to achieve their potential. Qualifications that would be useful are Team Teach or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools certificates.

Desired personal qualities for candidates are:
