Salary £60 - £70 per day Sector Education & Training
Learning Mentor required to provide 1-2-1 behaviour support for a female student that is no longer engaged in mainstream education. You will be providing classroom based support to a Key Stage 4 student that is struggling to engage within the classroom setting. This school is a fast paced and vibrant environment, where no two days are the same.

Should you be interested in this role, would will need to be able to demonstrate patience, resilience and the ability to have fun. The teachers aim to deliver fun and engaging lessons and communicate effectively with their supporting staff.  This is a challenging role that requires an individual to go above and beyond to support the student.

Job Role:
  • Working with small groups of students
  • Making learning fun for disengaged students
  • Providing support to teaching staff when needed
  • Building rapport and trust with students
  • Leading on fun classroom activities

Ideally, you will:
  • Have experience working as a Learning Mentor or Teaching Assistant
  • Have worked with challenging behaviour
  • Be able to break down barriers to communication
  • Have a calm, patient and positive approach
  • Be able to challenge students when required
