Due to growth and a new contract win we have immediate positions for Learner Support Advisors.
Located in the North West- Manchester area, you will receive a starting salary of up £20000, 23 days holidays+ bank holidays, pension, mobile and laptop.
The Learning Support Advisor will be learners who are engaged on 12 week short courses. The learners will be in employment and will be working towards a level 2 qualification in Digital, ICT, Health and Social Care, Construction or Business Programmes.

Summary of duties and responsibilities of the Learner Support Advisor:
" To provide a friendly and supportive service to students, using a range of communication media, being prepared to provide support both educationally and pastorally, enabling students to reach their goals and fulfil their potential
" To contact learners every two weeks to ensure they are on track and will achieve the qualifications on time
" To provide structure and focus to assist the students in managing their workload and making continued progress through their course and report any concerns to the relevant Head of Department
" To provide telephone, e?mail and webchat support for a caseload of students
" To respond to emails within specified time frames or response times
" To conduct frequent and effective reviews of learners' progress and respond effectively to learners' questions and problems
" To maintain records of all student contact using the correct documentation and collect evaluation information
" Provide advice to learners on study skills and arrange extended deadlines for submission of work should learners' personal circumstances necessitate it
" To accurately and consistently update staff and student records
Skills and Experience required for the Learner Support Advisor
" Related experience within IAG- Information, Advice and Guidance
" Previous experience within a coaching, mentoring, training role is required
" Excellent all round IT Skills including knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
" Level 2 in Maths, English and ICT or Grade C Equivalent
" A passion for providing excellent customer service experience and exceeding customer expectations
