Blue Arrow Glasgow are seeking a Laboratory Assistant to work on a full-time basis for 6 weeks! This role will be working with one of our public sector clients in Glasgow.
You will be part of the research support team supplying key wash - up services. The ideal candidate will have experience using industrial cleaning techniques and a very good eye for detail.
Main duties:
- Providing sterilisation, biological waste disposal and media preparation
- Daily collection and maintenance of glassware including repairs
- Operation of autoclaves and industrial washing machines
- Monitoring of deionised water for washers
- Hand washing glass ware to a very high standard
- Keeping records
- Lab coat monitoring
