SEN KS3 Learning Support Assistant – Stockport

Have you previously worked with KS3 aged pupils in any setting? Do you have a good understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Are you a confident and nurturing person with an interest in supporting young people?

Simply Education are currently seeking a learning support assistant to work in a specialist unit within a school in Stockport.
The role will involve a mixture of 1-1 and small group support in the classroom working with the teacher to help ensure students can access the activities set out for them. The current team are passionate about teaching students the curriculum and relevant life skills that they can use outside of the classroom and when they leave school, the focus is more on providing a safe learning environment where students are comfortable and can work with others without feeling pressured or forced.
Those school are wanting someone who can establish strong relationships with young people, and act as a role model for the students.
