Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Level 2 in Childcare (or equivalent)
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work full time at a large primary school in Stockton. The position will commence in November 2020 until at least February 2021.
The successful teaching assistant will work in a busy KS2 environment, assisting with small group maths and literacy interventions, and 1:1 support where needed. The chosen candidate must be knowledgeable of the KS2 Curriculum, and be able to work to their own initiative.
The school has a friendly and inviting atmosphere, with a positive ethos. Members of staff work closely together, providing support and assistant to both chidren, parents and other staff within the school. Team work is is something the school prides its self on.
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant (TA) position, you will:
Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare.
Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a KS2 environment.
Have good behaviour management and a positive attitude,
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
Have experience in a primary environment.
Have experience of holding interventions.
