Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Level 2 qualification in childcare.

January 2021- February 2021

Vision for Education are looking to appoint a part-time Teaching Assistant (TA) to work at a school in Stanley. This is a part-time role working from 8:30am until 12:30pm Monday to Friday, initially from January to the February half term, but with the potential to extend to April 2021.

The role

Working alongside the teacher in a KS2 class, the successful Teaching Assistant (TA) will perform a range of general support and 1:1 or small group interventions. The suitable candidate must have experience of working with KS2 children and have good understanding of the current curriculum.

Requirements
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:

Have experience supporting children in KS2 and leading small group or 1:1 interventions
Hold a minimum Level 2 childcare qualification
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
Ideally have experience delivering Literacy and Maths interventions
