Job Description

ABC Teachers are seeking a general classroom KS1 Teaching Assistant to work in a KS1 class at primary schools near Castle Vale.  This will start after May half term until July in the first instance.

The role will be working with the class teacher to assist all children in the class achieve to the best of their capabilities.  This may include working with small target groups in specific core subjects.

We’re looking for a qualified teaching assistant with a passion for supporting pupils and the ability to adapt teaching techniques from pupil to pupil dependent on their needs and abilities.

To be considered for the SEND Teaching Assistant position, you will:

Have previous experience working as a teaching assistant
Have suitable qualifications to work with young people
Have strong interpersonal skills
Have the ability to cater to different children’s needs
Be patient, calm and caring
