Role Overview:

A Kitchen Porter is required for Defence Unit near Portsmouth - Fareham. As the ultimate player in a team you will help to keep a kitchen running smoothly by making sure everything is clean, tidy, safe and hygienic. Assisting with the smooth running of the high volume kitchen that caters for staff, pupils as well as guests.

As a Kitchen Porter you will work 5/7 days, 6am-2pm/11am-7pm, Monday to Friday only!!! 37.5 hours a week and is optional. All shifts will be straight usually either early morning or mid-morning starts which allows you to have your evenings all to yourself. Unlike other sectors you will only work 1 in 4 weekends which again give you a perfect balance to your personal life.

What You Need To Be a Successful:

The ideal candidate will have experience in professional kitchens and be able to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure.

NVQ or City & Guilds Chef Qualifications are essential and Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is also advantageous but not essential.
