Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Key Stage One Teaching Assistant to work at a school situated in Newcastle. This role is set to commence ASAP until July 2023 working 08:30-15:30. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is a Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.

The role

The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 and excellent knowledge of Read, Write, Inc is essential. The TA will be offering general support throughout most of the day and some small group SEND work at times too.

The Primary School is a larger than average provision situated in the West End of Newcastle. The staff members focus on delivering tailored learning to ensure each child can progress to their full potential and become motivated learners.

Requirements

To be considered for the Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant post, you will:

Hold a minimum of Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning Qualification.
Have experience within Key Stage 1.
Have experience of teaching Read, Write, Inc Phonics.
Able to offer creative and dynamic teaching styles.
