Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (KS1 TA)

Location: Hexham  

Pay: £350 - £400 per week

September 2022 – April 2023

Vision for Education is looking to appoint a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (KS1 TA) to work as part of our supply team at a school in Hexham, Northumberland. This is a long-term Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (KS1 TA) role which will commence in September 2022 until April 2023, possibly longer. The position will be full-time, and working hours will be 8:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday.

The role

Working as part of a dynamic Key Stage 1 team, the successful Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (KS1 TA) will be required to work in a Year 1 class with 26 students. The role is mixed, and the successful Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (KS1 TA) must be comfortable being adaptable and flexible to the needs of the school. The role will include some 1:1 support for children with SEND, some group interventions and general classroom support.
