Job Description

Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef to join one of our clients. Working in a  busy kitchen at a large independent pub. They serve an extensive variety of freshly cooked food including A la Carte, traditional pub food and a Carvery which caters for a Restaurant, Bar, Coffee Lounge and Evening Bistro. We are looking for a candidate who is able to work in a high pressure and fast paced environment, in a hands-on role alongside a team of 14, as a senior figure in the kitchen. Good versatility will be required and the ability to work between sections during busier times, overseeing effective service and ensuring high standards.

Previous experience and knowledge of working practices including legislation on allergens and food safety is essential.

The position is available for immediate start. Applicants must be available for a variety of shifts including split and straight shifts spread across approximate 44 working hour week. With a competitive salary that is open to negotiation dependant on experience.
