Role is North Bristol Based, however will require frequent (weekly) travel to Malvern.

Having recently won a new contract to support the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) in delivering their next generation battlefield tactical communications and information systems, we are keen to appoint a junior project manager who will play a key part in delivery of the programme. Working closely with our partners, you will have direct involvement in a variety of work packages to deliver cutting edge technical products


As Junior Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the development and maintenance of positive engagement with project customers, partners and suppliers.

You’ll be responsible for the delivery of the project outputs, to agreed baseline (customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash and sales).

The Junior Project Manager will be ensuring project members operate in line with the Operating Framework & functional competency management requirements; and have appropriate personal objectives recorded in the QinetiQ performance management system.

Our Junior Project Managers maintain forecasts (both financial and resource demand signal) for sales and delivery which reflects the up-to-date expectations for the work.

You must report all progress on all accountabilities to programme / portfolio manager (or their delegate).


You need exposure to projects as either a Junior Project Manager or in a PMO/Project support capacity, ideally within Software, Hardware or infrastructure, looking to build a career as a Project Manager. Previous MOD experience would be useful but is not essential.
