The design office needs to expand to cope with the ongoing demand of the loyal customer base. Famed for building a very high quality product, this top flight employer is seeking someone with the drive and ambitious to work to the highest standards at all times!
Slotting in with the Interior design department alongside another junior design engineer, you'll be working on a host of joinery related projects, engineering solutions for fit and finish and then producing completed technical drawings to pass to production to turn to a reality.
Showing a keen eye for detail, you'll be able to confidently model in 3D (Siemens NX ideally, although training will be offered) and draft in 2D, working as part of a team, but able to also multitask alone on certain projects. You'll be confident dealing with both design and production queries and use an analytical mind to troubleshoot aswell.
In terms of background, you'll be educated in a design related degree and have worked with either high end marine or residential furniture, understanding how it will behave when fitted in a moving product.
In turn you'll be joining a company that will embrace your talent and train you further to become an even more rounded designer and engineer, offering a great salary and benefits package as well as great internal growth potential.
