Duties. Work. Projects.
We're hiring Software Engineers and Senior Software Engineers for our Shared Channels and Working Age programme. They're each hands-on roles, but with greater emphasis on leadership, management and strategy in the more senior role.
Shared Channels is a new approach for DWP. We're moving away from a methodology of building end-to-end services to a more user-centred approach prioritising seamless customer journeys.
We take a user-first, channel/product-agnostic approach. Our agile, multi-disciplinary team is building a user experience that is based on the events and triggers that we know occur in our customers' lives.
For our Working Age portfolio, you'll be interfacing with what has been dubbed the UK's largest agile programme of work. You'll be delivering on fast paced and quick turnaround programmes like Kickstart; a programme to match young talent with employers.
DWP provides lots of support and services and the customer journey often crosses channels and policy areas. So we want to leverage our common capabilities to provide a consistent approach and personalize our services to create a better user experience.
