The role
As an IT Customer Support Supervisor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be a critical component in the support of training delivery on behalf of the contract.
Day to day, you'll supervise the IT Customer Support team involved in the delivery of the MFTS ICT service
Assist in the production of management reports as and when required
Escalation point for local site MFTS ICT operational issues
Manage change process
Manage all orders placed locally with Babcock IS on behalf of the customer
Essential experience of the IT Customer Support Supervisor,
Good overall understanding of IT (strategy, road maps, products, projects, services, processes, applications, infrastructure & data) and its relationship to the business
Understanding of the flying training environment and programme
Good commercial awareness - considers the commercial impact of all decisions
Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to influence perceptions
This is a full-time, on-site role at RAF Shawbury, with some occasional travel within two hours to two other RAF bases.
Qualifications for the IT Customer Support Supervisor,
ITIL Foundation Certification
The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS/SC (must be British Nationals) security clearance level for this role.
