The role

As a Business Relationship Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be required to shape and influence the demand, prioritising to improve business value and manage the portfolio effectively. In collaboration with the business, you'll elicit objectives, high level requirements and robust business cases for a variety of project types such as Bids, Business Improvements and Evergreen.

Day to day, you'll maintain and build a close relationship with the senior management teams within the business units understanding their strategy and requirements of the IT function
Manage the IT portfolio for the business units in your area of responsibility
Collaborate with the business to prioritise demand in order to improve business value
Work with the business to elicit their high level requirements for Programmes / Projects Work with Subject Matter Experts in IT to ensure that solutions are proposed that meet the business objectives and align with the agreed technology and application roadmaps
Work with BCS PMO to ensure programme and project delivery is effective and according to appropriate cost and timescales

Essential experience of the IT Business Relationship Manager,
Previous experience in a Business Partner or Business Relationship Management role
There will be a requirement for occasional UK travel

This role is a permanent full time role which provides you the flexibility to work fully remote with ad hoc client visits at our Bristol site.

Qualifications for the IT Business Relationship Manager,
Business Relationship Management Professional qualification preferred but not essential

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
