Job Description

Pertemps Corby are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives within the Stock Control department, to start in December 2018 

Ongoing regular work with permanent opportunities and progression throughout 2019

- Our client, one of the UK's leading Logistics Solutions and renowned suppliers of Office stationery and IT equipment, are currently recruiting for a Stock Control / PI Operative to join their expanding team -

The Role
Working within the Stock Control team, your duties may include but is not limited to:

• Receive deliveries and store goods in the warehouse 
• Complete Stock takes and PI investigations
• Receipt of raw materials, finished goods, packaging, customer returns and other items 
• Booking in goods received in the ERP/WMS
• Labelling of stock in line with quality procedures 
• Preparing goods to be returned to suppliers when required 
• Put away finished goods into various warehouse areas 
• Picking of materials and finished goods for the dispatch team 
• Do regular Stocktaking/Stock control, including completion of required paperwork 
• Supply samples to other departments 
• Maintenance of good standards of hygiene and housekeeping in/around the warehouses

Hours of work

Rotation 

Monday to Friday, 1st Week: 07.00-15.00 | 2nd Week: 13.00-21.00 

Salary

£8.73 per hour, overtime paid at x1.5 & Sundays x2

The Applicant 
An ideal candidate will have the below skills and/or experience:

• Experience working within a Stock Control, QC or Goods-in environment 
• Competent Microsoft user; Excel, Word, Outlook and WMS
• Working at heights (MHE Experience including Scissor-lift) 
• MHE Certification or Licenses 
• Ability to work well in a team and also independently 
• Versatile, capable to work under minimum supervision and a quick learner
• Ability to communicate, both verbal and written
