Job Description

As the ideal candidate you will ideally have previous experience working within a busy Logistics environment as you will be the lead and ambassador for the inventory team; supporting the operations customer service delivery. You will be required to provide accurate resource requirements for all scheduled activities and ensure productivity of the staff in your team and under your control are productive and optimised. You will report to the business on any/all aspects of the stock control where financial implications may occur and make it your business to be central point as regards resource planning in the business. You will establish excellent working relationships and partnerships, based on an open two way communication style, with operational staff, Operations Manager, Account Managers, Customer Services Team and Finance Team.

On a day to day basis you will be Leading the Inventory team and providing guidance and support to Operational requirements for all customers on site. You will deliver Inventory Control & Quality KPI's and SLA's together with trending and reporting to drive performance improvements. Participating within the warehouse management team; and working closely with warehouse management colleagues you will deliver robust inventory reports and counts. This in turn will support the operational team and deliver in depth investigations through process and systemic root cause analysis.

Due to the nature of the role you will require experience with Business systems ISO14001/2004, ISO9001:2000, a fork lift licence (ideally but not essential) and have an in depth knowledge of running stock control reports.
