We are working in partnership with a number of schools in and around the Birmingham areas. These schools have informed us that they will be looking to take on an Intervention Teacher within the new academic year. The aim of the Intervention Teacher will be to raise attainment across the School in both numeracy and literacy.
For the role of Intervention Teacher , you will be working across both Key Stages 1 and 2 as an additional Teacher with the aim of working within small groups and on a one-to-one basis. For this role you must be able to demonstrate your ability to make progress on both numeracy and literacy.
The Intervention Teacher
- Will hold a formal teaching qualification.
- Can demonstrate previous teaching with challenging behaviour.
- Knowledge of the UK curriculum.
- Aware of the procedure with regards to safeguarding in a school environment.
- Ability to tailor lessons based on each child’s individual needs.
