INTERNAL SALES EXECUTIVE
SUMMARY OF JOB
Based at the Company's head office, Lye Stourbridge.
To answer incoming customer calls and e-mails in a professional and efficient manner
To ensure that all sales enquiries are recorded and actioned on a timely basis.
To follow up sales quotations and obtain customer feedback.
Utilise inbound call opportunities to generate sales and renewals.
Where possible educate the customer on our product range and services which the Company can provide.
To develop strong relationships with customers who have expressed an interest in our products and services
To provide customer service with good communication and feedback.
Responsible to the Sales Manager & Managing Director.
Liaises with Clients, Supplier and Agents.
Liaises internally with all departments, including Production, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing and Accounts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To control and execute Sales Enquiries. This will involve database entry, quoting standard products both written and verbally, costing under supervision where applicable and ensuring more complex quotations are completed by the projects/contracts office on a timely basis.
Work with all personnel and outside contacts to satisfy customers and achieve company goals
Arrive to work and any meetings on time and prepared
Follow company housekeeping and 5S policies and maintain work area in a clean and organized manner.
Attend all product training sessions.
Liaise with Customers & Suppliers to provide status and build and maintain good working relationships.
To carry out such additional duties as may become necessary from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the sales operation.
Must be self-motivated and work on own initiative.
Must be able and willing to work also as a team player.
Must be able to communicate at all levels both internally and externally.
Must be diligent, enthusiastic and retain integrity even when working in pressurised conditions.
Excellent interpersonal skills (approachable, positive, motivated, go-getter attitude)
Must be flexible and well organized, be able multi task and prioritise
Appreciation and an interest in providing exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Have good education background with good GCSE qualifications in English and Math's
Good keyboard Skills and be computer literate. Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel & Access.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage relationships and expectations on various levels.
Appreciation and an interest in providing exceptional customer service and satisfaction
Ability to sell and cross sell.
Previous experience within a customer service/ales office environment
Previous working experience with an engineering company would be advantageous but not essential.
Full product and service training will be provided
Salary up to £25,000 depending on experience
Working Hours :
Mon – Thur – 8:30am to 5:00pm with Half hour lunch break
Fri – 8.30:am to 2:00pm No lunch break.
