The business look to ensure best value for its customers through effective management of 3rd party spend.
The MI reporting manager will be focusing on helping deliver excellence in our cost transformation programme through the provision of management information and data insight. Core accountabilities are;
Support Cost transformation teams through improvements to our Management Information to help support Cost Transformation Approval Board decision making (CTAB).
Support our cost transformation programme with fortnightly progress reporting for each business unit (approximately nine reports) that include;
Analysis of transactional data and tracking performance against KPIs and measuring the success of the Transformation Programme.
Extracting insight from the data and using it to drive actions with our stakeholder group to realise opportunities and mitigate risks identified.
This is important role and by its nature will touch all areas in Commercial and the wider business.

What will this role involve?
You will be accountable for the delivery of cost transformation MI and spend insight both internally within Commercial & the project team and externally to the wider business. You will be required to proactively answer questions from the Commercial & Procurement Director, Group Finance CFO and the wider business through new insightful management reports, information and dashboards. You will create and manage fortnightly progress reports for each business area, extracting insight from the data and using it to drive actions with our stakeholder groups to realise opportunities and mitigate risks identified. Working closely with our analytics team within Commercial Strategy to systemise, continuously improve and automate where possible the performance reporting, and design the new robust processes to support. You will have the ability to define, rollout and monitor suites of standardised supply chain spend and compliance controls across all business areas, including YTD spend variance, spend non-compliance, discretionary spend and other key metrics. Provide ad-hoc deep dive analysis into identified commercial opportunity and risk areas along with a proven capability to write clear processes and how to guides.
What skills are we looking for?
Performance reporting and Management Information experience.
Experience in developing management information through reports and dashboards.
Management Account experience desirable.
Strong attention to detail.
Analytical and problem solving mindset.
Good interpersonal, persuasion and and communications.
Strong writing skills, able to draft polices and procedures.
This 3 month contract role is based in Reading and is offering a rate of £300 per day.
