The Innovation Engineer role is based within our Marine Engineering & Systems business area

At our site in Rosyth, we aim to deliver engineering-led and world-leading products and services across our engineering, specialised manufacturing, gas handling systems and naval marine businesses

The role

The difference our new Innovation Engineer will make

As a Innovation Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. As an Innovation Engineer you'll be responsible for leading the deployment of improvement projects and providing technical expertise.

Day to day, you'll provide guidance in Lean Six Sigma, Project and Change Management principles and tools to enable identification and delivery of improvement opportunities aligned to key business goals. You'll also coach and mentor associates including delivery of training packages.

Within the role there will be a focus on developing and implement improvement projects to deliver the goals of the department including analysing operational performance and identifying performance improvement initiates for the department.

Essential experience
Relevant continuous improvement or change management qualifications.
Experience in the identification, analysis and deployment of continuous improvement initiatives.
