Job Description

Integrated Management System (IMS) Co-ordinator
An interesting position for an IMS Coordinator has become available working with an important and well established business on a 6 - 12 months Maternity cover contract basis.

As IMS Coordinator you will be accountable for:
* Maintenance of Quality Management System (QMS) - (ISO9001:2015 format)
* Maintenance of ISO14001:2015 standard
* Ensuring compliance to Company Corporate Governance standards
* Achievement of all related Internal Audits & their continued compliance
* Compliance to Health & Safety and Environment policies
* Lead waste management packaging across the business

Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain IMS for the Company and/or Group
* Maintain effective and meaningful policies/procedures, as required
* Review existing policies and procedures and look for streamlining/rationalisation opportunities
* Assist Groups to develop an effective manual control system for Forms & Records
* Lead and carry out regular internal self audits across the Company, as part of the IMS system
* Lead monthly Company risk and compliance meetings. Ensure alignment to Company Corporate Governance
* Develop and implement ideas to improve compliance to Corporate Governance

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:-
* Develop & implement appropriate plans for expanding AEO certification
* Develop and implement improvements to further enhance the IMS
* Continually improve all related Environment policies/procedures to ensure compliance including legal compliance, waste recycling, energy consumption, paper usage and legal compliance
* Identify opportunities for improving/reducing waste packaging usage
* Any other duties requested by HR/CG Manager

Skills & Experience required

Must have:
* Experience of Integrated Management System Maintenance
* Ability to create effective policies & procedures to achieve appropriate accreditation
* Excellent attention to detail with systematic approach
* Planning & organising
* Ability to work on own initiative, with minimum supervision
* Positive, self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible
* Fully conversant with Microsoft office and Excel, Lotus Notes and PowerPoint

The following would be advantageous:
* Experience of Quality Management System development
* Experience of developing Health & Safety policies/procedures
* Experience of developing Environment policies/procedures
* Previous experience of AEO would be useful
* Work cross functionally supporting each area as required
* Good analytical and numerical skills
* Excellent presentation & communication skills

Benefits:
* Salary: £29,000.00 per annum
* 37 hours per week with additional flexibility according to business requirements
* One hour for lunch
