Salary: 26-28k + Benefits
Shifts/Hours : 1 x 9-5 Monday to Friday
1 x 12 hour shift pattern working a very favourable pattern
The client is seeking ambitious candidates looking to develop their career who are driven and determined and work well in a team.
It would be a huge advantage if you have a Freight Forwarding background, particularly in Air Freight Imports, however the client will consider candidates with an administrative background.
Experience within Transport Planning will be an advance also, along with understanding of HMRC procedures. Good Commercial Awareness and ability to follow processes is essential.
*Candidates will need to have a CRB check and 5 years referencing.
As an Import Operations Co-Ordinator you will join the dynamic team and undertake a range of activities to support the London Airfreight operation.
The role will consist of end to end of ordering service, Customer Entry's and Customer Service.
Example of Duties will consist of:
Manage Customer Entry exceptions
Liaise with Carriers, Handling Agents, Transport and Warehouse
Manage shipments owned by Import Operations
Review and transmit Customer Entry records
Booking in of shipments, create customer entry.
