ICT/Computer Science Teacher

Chesterfield, North East Derbyshire

£95 – £213.35 PER DAY
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status and experience of teaching in Secondary Schools.

Vision for Education is currently recruiting for a Teacher of ICT and Computer Science with experience of teaching Computing to A-Level. The ideal candidate will hold QTS and will not only be a subject specialist in ICT, but will also have the Key Stage 5 Computing experience required for the role. The role

This is a long term, ongoing supply role, due to start beginning – mid November for an undetermined amount of time, thought to be a minimum of 6 weeks but could potentially run longer. The school is a well established academy in Chesterfield who are deep rooted in the community. Pupils are generally well behaved due to the robust systems in place and strong Senior Leadership. All planning and preparation is discussed within the ICT and Computing team to share best practice and ensure learning objectives are consistently met across the department.

Requirements

To be considered for the position of ICT/Computer Science Teacher, you will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have experience teaching in Secondary schools, ideally up to GCSE level.

Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Subject specialists.

Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
