The HR Business Partner role is based within our Mission Systems business area.

The role
The difference our new HR Business Partner will make
As a HR Business Partner, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. As a business we are transforming and we need you to support our key leaders in forging new paths, and leading their teams through exciting, but sometimes challenging change. You'll be a key partner in Owning and Delivering our ambitious people agenda. As part of the HR team, you'll partner senior leaders within our Matrix organisation, as well as supporting the roll out of all new change programmes
Day to day, you'll be supporting the development of the people agenda, championing employee engagement initiatives, and acting as an advocate for your business area. Developing and implementing the associated people plan, initiatives and processes for your business area, to build a healthy, high-performing organisation. Building strong and influential relationships with key stakeholders, including trade union and employee representatives and colleagues across the sector, to deliver our strategic objectives.
You will be responsible for leading significant change programmes within the business area including end to end management of TUPE transfers and reorganisations. Implementing an innovative and engaging talent strategy for all of our colleagues. Coaching managers to improve their impact as leaders, and enabling them to resolve complex employee cases, seeking legal advice where required.

Essential experience
Proven HR Business Partner, with significant generalist experience including resourcing/talent acquisition, reward, talent development, change management, and employee relations.
In-depth knowledge and experience of TUPE legislation and Transfers
Demonstrates commercial awareness with a good understanding of the business environment including customers, competitors, etc.
Experience in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
Experience of project management and prioritising deliverables to independently manage concurrent and multiple business change projects and day to day operations simultaneously.
Experience of operating alongside a HR Shared Services model
Operational experience of using and reporting from HR Information Systems (i.e. Success Factors).
