An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join the European HR team, based in London, to provide full-time, generalist HR support to the Vice Presidents of the UK and Ireland.

Reporting to the Director, HR Business Partner - Europe (based in Stockholm) you will have a broad range of responsibilities including, but not limited to:

Compensation, Benefits and Insurances - work with Director, HRBP Europe on the annual payroll process including researching and provision of benchmarking data to the Vice Presidents; administration of benefits and insurance brokers and providers and oversee annual renewals; provide Management Information on benefits costs as required; editor of Health & Wellbeing Newsletter created in Publisher

Holiday / Absence Management - maintain individual holiday and absence records in
Excel and obtain annual sign-off by the employee; maintain central Whereabouts Calendar

Payroll - payroll is outsourced and you will prepare a payroll report on a monthly basis providing instructions to the payroll provider on items to be processed for every member of staff. Experience of Payflow or a similar payroll platform ideal but not essential

P11Ds - annually, manage the end-to-end process for the UK business and all staff based in the UK

PAYE Settlement Agreement - annually, review expense data with the aim of minimising the overall tax liability for the UK business

Tax efficiency schemes -monitor payroll deductions for staff with protected benefits in our Childcare Voucher Scheme; enable staff to participate in the Bike to Work Scheme when relevant

Reference Requests - Prepare reference letters in response to requests from employees, employers, agencies, financial institutions etc.

New Joiners and Leavers - manage the new joiner and leaver processes including assisting with the recruitment process, onboarding and offboarding of staff; work with internal legal counsel when necessary

Employee Relations - while this forms a part of your day-to-day role, assist the Vice
Presidents and other line managers on an as needed basis to achieve timely resolutions

Policies, Procedures, Employment Law - ensure timely update of Company policies and procedures to ensure employment law compliance; partner with internal legal counsel when appropriate; ensure education of and adherence to policies and procedures

Health & Safety - keep up to date with legal changes; maintain the Health & Safety Fire Safety Declaration; ensure annual company obligations such a Fire Risk Assessments and PAT Testing are carried out in a timely manner

Ad hoc and special projects - Vice Presidents with ad hoc and special projects as required

Personal Attributes

Professional Credentials

o 5+ relevant years' experience working in a generalist HR role in a professional
services/consulting organisation

o CIPD Certificate in Human Resources Practice (Level 3) or above and has a minimum of five GCSEs grades A*-C including Math's and English Language

o Knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook - minimum of Intermediate level essential

o Competent and accurate data entry essential
