A leading Midlands-based service provider is seeking a highly capable, commercially astute HR Advisor initially for a period of 12 months; however there is a strong possibility that this role will become permanent.
With a new Head of HR having recently joined the business, HR has gone through a massive and proactive transformation. This has seen the profile of HR being raised and as such is viewed incredibly positively by the Senior Leadership Team within the business.
A HR Advisor is required to continue educating staff on the value of HR throughout the organisation by providing a proactive generalist service, taking ownership of operational HR issues (by doing so, freeing up the Head of HR to focus on the proactive aspects of HR), being visible throughout the organisation, and acting as a first point of contact for all staff on any HR query.
To be considered for this role you will:
Have high attention to detail;
Understand the commercial value HR can add to a business;
Have worked within a forward thinking environment where HR has positively impacted the business, with a clear understanding of your involvement within this;
Have the desire to take ownership of all operationally focused HR issues whilst supporting the Head of HR on a range of project work;
Be able to provide a business partner service to senior members of staff.
