Duty Manager – Hotel - £18,000 - £20,000 – Near Lyndhurst


The role:


A Duty Manager is required for this small country house hotel near Lyndhurst in the New Forest. The hotel is privately owned, has accolades for the restaurant and caters for weddings.  The Duty Manager will report into the Assistant Manager and assist with the running of the hotel.  The successful applicant will work 5/7 days to include evenings and weekends.  The shifts will usually be straight, not split, and you will get your 2 days off together.  Come and join this friendly team!

Your main responsibilities as Duty Manager will include:
  • Ensure all departments are running smoothly, particularly F&B and Reception
  • Be hands on and get involved in all areas
  • Be customer focused and deliver excellent customer service
  • Deal with customer queries and complaints
What you need to get the Duty Manager job:
  • Experience as either senior general assistant or duty manager in a hotel
  • All round hotel experience, particularly in F&B and Reception
  • A dedicated and passionate team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A passion for hospitality
