Job Description

We are looking for someone to join the Sodexo team at Ascot racecourse, to work in an administration and coordination role within the beverage department. You will be involved in monitoring performance of drinks sales, producing invoices, checking stock levels and conducting reporting following race days. This is an ideal role for someone highly organised, professional and flexible to work on race days. On a race day you will be speaking to a variety of bars, restaurants and retail outlets across the racecourse to gather information on drinks stock and any wastage.

Main responsibilities

The role will involve working with the Cellar manager and the wider team to support this fantastic operation at an amazing venue. You will keep all the invoicing up to date, check the prices of drinks being sold at the venue are up to date and ensure that all the casual workers hours are recorded within the system, therefore flagging any over spend on labour costs. In addition you will produce stock sheets for different restaurants and retail outlets across the venue. Ideal candidate
  • Professional presentation and conduct to be able to interact with customers, clients and peers alike.
  • Microsoft Office competency, with knowledge of Excel.
  • Organisational skills. To demonstrate a methodical and analytical mind.
  • Excellent communicational skills
  • Flexibility to work at race days
