We are currently recruiting for various catering assistant roles within Aintree Hospital, Liverpool.

The Catering/Kitchen Assistant role, is on a temp-perm basis, you will have the opportunity to prove yourself in the job, and then potentially after 12 weeks you will be employed on a permanent contract within the NHS.

The standard day time pay rate is £8.21 per hour, the evening pay rate from 8.00 pm onwards and Saturday rate is £11.66 per hour and the Sunday/Bank holiday pay rate is £15.11 per hour.

General duties may include:
You may be required to work closely with patients serving meals & beverages, collecting dishes, issuing stock and taking patients food orders and collating menus. You may also be required to work on the patient's belt, dishwasher, deep cleaning and kitchen cleaning. You may also be required to undertake Basic food preparation, customer service, cash handling, kitchen cleaning, replenishing stock, front of house, and delivery of buffets.

1.00-6.15 Monday - Thursday - 21 hours
16.15-20.45 Tuesday - Saturday - 22 hours
16.15-20.45 Tuesday - Saturday - 22 hours
16.15-20.45 Monday - Friday - 22 hours
16.15-20.45 Monday - Friday - 22 hours
16.15-20.45 Mon, Tues, Sat 11.15-18.15 Sunday - 20 hours
11.00-3.00 Monday - Friday - 20 hours
11.00-3.00 Monday - Friday - 20 hours
11.00-2.30 Monday - Friday - 17.5 hours
10.30-18.00 Sunday Monday & Tuesday - 21 hours
10.30-18.00 Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday - 28 hours


YOU MUST BE ABLE TO EVIDENCE WITH REFERENCES YOU HAVE WORKED IN A CATERING ENVIRONMENT FOR MORE THAN 12 MONTHS IN LAST 3 YEARS. WE WILL REQUIRE REFERENCES FOR ALL POSITIONS HELD IN THE LAST 3 YEARS.

You must be able to pass a DBS check to be successful for this role
