The primary school is OFSTED rated GOOD, based in Walsall, and are recruiting a Level 4 HLTA (higher level Teaching Assistant) for October 2022. This school has vastly improved under the guidance of a new headteacher who is committed to investing in her staff. The two-form entry Primary School currently holds full time permanent opportunities for H.L.T.A.’s to progress in their careers.
You will be working closely with the class teacher, to deliver small group interventions as well as lead the full class for no more than 50% of your timetable. The year group allocation would depend on the applicant’s placement history and specialism.
To be successful in your application, you should;
• Hold a relevant UK Level 4 qualification with HLTA status
• Have knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum
• Be able and willing to travel to the Walsall area
• Have high expectations of yourself in your career and the children you teach
