£450.00 - £475.00 per week

Vision for Education is looking to appoint a Key Stage 2 (KS2) Higher Level Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our successful supply team and work in a local primary school in the North Tyneside area. This is a fixed term supply Teaching Assistant (TA) role, which will commence as soon as possible.

The role

Working as part of a friendly and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 (KS2) team, the appointed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (TA) will focus on delivering intervention support and general in their Year 6 class. The successful application will have ideally worked within Key Stage 2  (KS2) and will have delivered phonics-based support. However, all interventions will come with more in depth training for the successful candidate. Since this is a Higher Level role, this will include some PPA cover. The successful Teaching Assistant will have good knowledge of the curriculum and will be able to build solid relationships with the pupils in the class including the other members of staff. This would be a Full Time Teaching Assistant (TA) post, working 08:30 – 15:30 Monday to Friday.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are minimum of a Level 4 childcare (or equivalent) qualification and experience of supporting children in a primary school setting. This role would be also suitable for ECT’s.

To be considered for the position of the Key Stage 2 (KS2) Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:

Hold a level 4 or above qualification in childcare (or relevant)

Have experience teaching primary education at a key stage 2 level, ideally within year 6
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary Teachers.

Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
