You will be joining SHB's team as an apprentice HGV Technician, benefitting from workplace and off site college based learning.
SHB, in partnership with Bosch Automotive are offering a number of apprenticeship places across their UK depot network.
This is an opportunity to join an Iveco supported apprenticeship programme which will see you be-come a qualified Heavy Vehicle Technician. This is a 3 year apprenticeship which will result in the successful candidate gaining the Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification.
As a Heavy Vehicle Technician you would be involved in a variety of tasks ranging from:
* Servicing and repairs,
* Replacing components
* Using specialist equipment such as electrical and electronic diagnostics
* Rectifying faults on customer's vehicles in a busy workshop
Part of this programme will include travelling to a State of the art training centre in Basildon to receive the highest quality training. Your training will be delivered as block release, which will involve extended periods away from home (1 week blocks). This will be Mon - Friday staying away from home - travel and accommodation costs are met by SHB.
