Healthcare Recruitment Consultant
We are looking for experienced NHS recruiters who are highly motivated, organised, have strong customer service experience and thrives working in a fast-paced environment.
The Recruitment Consultant is responsible for recruiting suitably qualified, professional candidates and placing them into suited assignments in Delight Care Services client organisations, your main client focus will be the NHS.
Actively source suitable candidates to Delight Care Services and maintain a connection of contacts to be effective in supplying to client short and long-term needs.
Work with clients, to build and sustain working relationships to ensure we preserve a good understanding of their temporary staffing needs and requirements for all staffing roles from entry level to Specialist Roles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review candidates who apply to Delight Care Services to ensure their suitability. Match these to client needs and demands.
* Build and manage a candidate pipeline suited on their area of specialty while building your own knowledge of their Specialties so you can positively develop partnerships with your candidates and their career pathways
* Undertake precise recruitment activity to support pipeline growth including social media, advertising, CV database mining, posting of jobs on agreed channels and being a point of expertise in your specific specialty area
* Be aware of legislative changes affecting medical staffing
* Ensure recruitment of all candidates is in line with NHS check standards, safe recruitment guidelines and employment legislation
* Responsible for ensuring appropriate pre-employment checks are carried out to ensure correct immigration/work permit paperwork, professional registration, qualifications, and health clearance in order to fulfil their post
* Support the compliance team in ensuring on going compliance of workers is maintained
* Work with Office Manager to ensure candidates timesheets or pay queries are resolved in a timely and effective manner
* Deal with client/candidate queries and take ownership to follow up and ensure they are dealt with efficiently
* Manage placed candidates’ assignments and maintain effective relationships with active candidates and placements
* Attend relevant conferences/events to network and engage with existing and potential candidates and clients
* Ensure adherence to clients agreed rate cards, ensuring the candidates agree the payment method for the duration of the assignment. Ensure any rates agreed are in line with Agency cap rate. Identify opportunities for business growth and new referrals and actively work on these.

* Be able to demonstrate NHS experience in a recruitment consultant role
* Influencing and negotiation skills
* Confident communicator with excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
* Ability to build effective working relationships with staff at all levels across a wide range of managerial and professional groups
* Experience of working towards KPIs and objectives/in a target driven environment

Salary: DOE however will be above NLW or equivalent
