Healthcare Assistant

£9.25- £10.00 per hour

Nos Da Healthcare's Head Office & well established Bargoed branch are recruiting Healthcare Assistants to work in Nursing Homes across the following area's.

 Bargoed
 Blackwood
 Pontypool
 Cwmbran
 Newport
 Ebbw Vale
 Cardiff
 Rhondda Cynon Taff

= Pontypridd
 Brecon

We provide healthcare staff to nursing homes, secure units, and supported living. We offer a

As an agency worker, working on behalf of Nos Da Healthcare Ltd, you will be asked to
travel and work within a variety of nursing and residential homes, and you will assist adults
with varying care needs in all activities of daily living, ensuring independence is promoted at
all times.

We have both day and night shifts available. Working hours will normally consist of 12 hour
shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, and are worked in one location for the whole
shift.

We always try our best to keep staff in their local area although working for an agency, you may be needed to travel. This is at your discretion but the more flexible you are, the more work will be offered to you.

The successful candidates must:
 Have 6 months experience in healthcare
 Be eligible to work in the UK
 Hold a UK driving licence and have use of a vehicle
 Be willing to travel at least 30 minutes to shifts
 Be confident and able to adapt to a variety of nursing homes
 Be reliable

Due to COVID-19 restrictions we are conducting all interviews by telephone with no face-to-
face contact, and we are able to provide online training but will need to see evidence and
recent experience of mandatory training.

The post involves working with vulnerable adults and is subject to a Disclosure Barring
Service (DBS) application at an enhanced level. A portable DBS with the update service is
preferred, however we can apply for a new disclosure if necessary.
