Healthcare Assistant for Private Home
We are looking for someone to help look after an elderly lady (an eminent retired doctor) who has Parkinson’s disease amongst other conditions.
The Healthcare Assistant job will include most or all of these responsibilities:
* Personal care
* Food preparation
* Supervising games and exercise
* Taking the lady out for trips around the park and the local area
* Maintaining her environment and equipment
* Administering medications and keeping appropriate detailed records
The work will be primarily based at the lady’s elegant and historical home with a garden in a lovely area of South West London. This is a rare opportunity to develop your care and nursing skills and experience in a unique setting with a delightful patient.
Healthcare Assistant Requirements
* Care skills developed in care home, elderly hospital ward, care agency or any similar environments
* Compassionate, patient and warm nature, combined with strong care skills and knowledge
* Writing and communication ability
* Highly organised with a keen eye both for detail and the big picture
* Satisfactory references
* Able to complete an enhanced DBS check
* Have the right to work in the UK

* For a live-out position: a highly competitive and negotiable wage of £11 to £15 per hour

The patient and all employees are taking maximum precautions to avoid the virus. All those involved are regularly tested and have so far been negative for Covid-19.
