Job Description

Badenoch + Clark is currently working with a London based Supported Housing provider on the recruitment of a Head of Community Investment. The key purpose of this role is to lead the development and delivery of innovative community advice and well-being services that increase the financial, physical and mental health and wellbeing of customers.
This is a new opportunity reporting to the Director of Community Investment and will suit an experience leader with the proven ability to develop and implement community-based strategy as well as drive operations.

You will be responsible for ensuring services are able to holistically meet a wide range of customer needs relating to income maximisation, welfare benefits, employment and skills, digital inclusion, as well as physical and mental health and wellbeing. You will also make sure services are accessible, empowering and ever evolving to help customers and business to tackle the challenges created by welfare reform and Covid-19, as well as poverty, inequality and exclusion more widely.

Your day to day role, among other things, will involve:

-Support the development and delivery of a Community Investment Strategy by using human centred design to deliver sector leading advice and support services

-Ensure services and partnerships increase customers financial, physical and mental health and wellbeing by maximising household incomes through welfare benefits support, engaging financial inclusion programmes, routes into sustainable employment, as well as wider support and coaching to meet a wide range of needs

-Lead, manage, motivate, support and continuously develop your team, providing team members

-Work with the wider organisation including Income, Housing Management, Customer Service Centre, Repairs and Estate Service teams

-Proactively develop and maintain strategic links with key external agencies and to help build innovative partnerships
