My client is looking for a very talented Head Chef who will be responsible for organising the day to day operations of the kitchen and staff of the B&I staff canteen. The site caters for 450 covers currently, which will be expanding to 600 covers in May 2020.
The company is all about fresh and nutritional food, so to succeed in the role you must have fresh, innovate & modern ideas and be able to produce the high-quality restaurant food. The covers will also be a plated service so high presentation skills and working in a high-pressured environment is a must to succeed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain & improve standards of service in relation to all procedures, staff and food production.
Ensure that catering deadlines are met.
Assist the Catering Manager in the implementation and monitoring of all training & development plans.
To supervise, motivate, coach & team build.
To lead the kitchen at all functions and other arranged events.
Highly competitive salary - £31,500
