Head Chef - Country Pub _ Basingstoke - £32,000 to £35,000 PA

Are you a Head Chef looking for a new challenge? Or an experienced Sous Chef seeking to step up to Head chef in a vibrant, fresh and exciting opportunity?

Would you consider yourself to be an individual with lots of creativity and flair for producing beautiful dishes?
This position offers you unrivalled experience and an opportunity to demonstrate your excellence in a beautiful, traditional country pub. You will be working alongside a fantastic team of chefs creating exceptional fresh food dishes. This is a quality based environment that is fun, engaging and rewarding, with plenty of support to help you along the way.

The Role:
* A Head Chef or strong Sous Chef with experience in a similar 'fresh food' environment
* Health and Safety and Food Hygiene Level 2
* Experienced in the preparation, cooking and presentation of fresh food and seasonal produce
* Ability to take ownership and train the kitchen team
* Strong initiative by incorporating ideas to create new specials whilst improving the food and service
* A positive attitude with a passion to deliver top quality food
* A dedicated approach to the development and training of the Chef de Partie's and Commis Chefs
* Ordering and stock control management
* Hardworking and reliable team player

* Experience working in a fresh food kitchen with the opportunity to learn and share tips from experienced managers
