Head Chef - Up to £28,000 - Public House - Taunton
We are looking to employ a Head Chef to operate our kitchen in the beautiful setting of Taunton. We operate on a carvery basis and are very diverse on menu offerings going forward. We have a beautiful garden and function rooms available to produce a different style of food offerings with the Head Chefs input on menu items that we would offer. As the Head Chef we would expect hours to be worked on business needs, have a great understanding of all health and safety aspects of the kitchen and be up to speed with high volume cooking. Looking for a very hands on Head Chef that can lead and take ownership.
What You Need To Be a Successful Head Chef
Proven experience as a Head Chef in delivering exceptional dishes in a time pressured environment, taking responsibility for the quality of each and every dish served.
Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimised kitchen processes
A confident, self-motivated, driven and professional person
Excellent management skills and financial understanding
Outstanding communication and leadership skills
Credentials in health and safety training
