We are recruiting for a passionate, experienced and driven Head Chef to play an influential role as part of the pub's senior management team. This is a fantastic establishment based in Farnborough.

As Head Chef, you will have the autonomy to develop seasonal menus, showcasing your dishes with the excellent local produce on offer. For this you will require a sound understanding of purchasing and costing.

Leading, inspiring and motivating the kitchen team will be a key focus of your role, therefore an infectious passion for cooking and an excellent work ethic is essential.

Covers: Lunch - range from 30-60 depending on time of year. Dinner - 45 - 80 (there are many walk-ins, therefore the covers can sometimes be very concentrated into a short space of time)

The Head Chef role provides a great deal of autonomy and you'll have enormous influence over the performance of the business. Together with the manager you will develop the menus and be responsible for locally sourcing fresh ingredients from the best suppliers, and negotiating the best deals available.
