A Head Chef who is fully qualified with previous experience in a high end establishment using fresh produce is required for a rare and exciting opportunity to run a kitchen in an Awarded Gastro Pub on the outskirts of Brighton which already has a well-earned reputation but wanting to raise the bar even higher.
The location for this head chef position is quite rural but easily accessible by car which also means it is accessible to the dining public who are attracted to this place.
Management experience is essential as is the ability to create rosette standard food, change the menus to match the seasons and be able to utilise local produce the best way.
As you would expect experience and the ability to manage a team effectively is needed as well as being able to work well with the front of house team and the owner who is very supportive yet not overpowering. Transport is essential along with good communication skills. This is more of a restaurant in a pub with the style of food.
