Job Description

 This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, innovative quality focused head chef to develop their culinary career in a fantastic and exciting environment. In this role, you will join the senior management team and offer development and daily food production for a leading media firm in London.

The opportunity is therefore suited to Chefs with an excellent craft background and ability to coach and inspire a talented team to deliver a first class catering experience to our customers.

 

 

 

Main responsibilities
  • Drive profitability for both Sodexo and client through excellence in execution
  • Consult on designs and develop appropriate solutions for the kitchen & restaurant services
  • Project manage key projects in food transformation
  • Lead recruitment process on key food positions within the contract
  • Develop, implement  and manage site business and training plan
  • Be an ambassador of innovation with food for Sodexo
  • Deliver on all Operating Brands offers  to Company specifications as requested
  • Maintain all levels of food hygiene throughout the preparation areas
  • Reporting any Health & Safety / Food & Safety issues immediately to your line manager
  • Ensuring good levels of customer service and care throughout your shift
Ideal candidate

Essential

  • Experience as executive chef or group head chef in blue chip
  • P&L experience
  • Strong financial awareness and understanding of budgets
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to manage teams of people
  • Impeccable culinary skills
  • Client customer communication skills, with the ability to develop long term relationships
  • Passion for food and service delivery

Desirable

  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • IT skills
  • Personal development and improvement skills
