Blue Arrow are recruiting for a Head Chef/Manager for our client based in Solihull, Birmingham.
This is a full time position, 35 hours per week (5/7 days including some weekends) at £11 per hour. This equates to an annual salary of £20,000
This position is working for a major Housing Association at one of their flagship sites. It is an assisted living complex with 50 residents, living independently but needing low level care.
Your operational responsibilities will include day to day running of kitchen including menu planning, stock control and ordering, rota planning, team management, maintaining food hygiene standards and kitchen cleanliness
You will work alongside other management and attend weekly meetings to ensure performance targets and budget is being adhered to.
This role is ideal for a chef looking to run their own kitchen whilst maintaining an excellent work/life balance.
The ideal candidate will have proven kitchen management experience and be able to lead a team of dedicated staff whilst ensuring the highest standards are achieved.
The role will require a current Enhanced Adult Workforce DBS. A pre-existing DBS is ok as long as it is registered on the update service allowing the client to perform the necessary checks. Or you must be willing to undergo a new check.
