The HSE Recruitment Network have a fantastic opportunity for a Health & Safety Advisor looking to take that step to become H&S and Facilities Manager position.

This H&S and Facilities Manager position is full time permanent based in the West Midlands, this role is based across two sites both based on the West Midlands.

As a H&S and Facilities Manager we will need you to have:

• NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent
• Used ISO 45001
• BIFM Qualification – desirable
• IOSH Membership
• Experience working across logistics, Distribution, Facilities Management
• Ability to influence key stake holders
• Procurement and contractor management
• Knowledge of routine Preventative Maintenance
• Experience of a similar role within a distribution site

As a H&S and Facilities Manager the role will involve:

• Materials Handling Equipment fleet Management including scheduled servicing, breakdowns, and new equipment requirements
• Responsibility for contractors management, new business, renewals and contractor compliance liaising closely with the H&S Manager
• Ensuring the facilities schedule is kept up to date daily with Planning and servicing
• Supervision of the Cleaning, Maintenance and Contract Security teams including Training & performance reviews
• Keeping on top of scheduled collections and Hazourdous waste removals
• Monitoring, ordering and issuing of Staff Uniform, Stationery, PPE, & Cleaning Consumables
• Working closely with 3rd party security providers including site opening hours cover and monitoring

This H&S and Facilities Manager is paying between 40k- 50k with other additional benefits:
